Cherokee Purple Tomato
This heirloom produces purple-pink-brown flattened globes weighing 12-16 oz. They are sweet with rich tomato flavor. This variety is reputed to have been grown originally by the native American Cherokee tribe. Gorgeous meaty interior and one of our favorite varieties to eat. 85 days.

Caspian Pink Tomato
Hailing from Russia, this large heirloom produces late season prolific sweet fruits weighing 1-2 pounds. This may be the best tasting tomato you've ever had. Beats the famed Brandywine in several taste tests. 80 days indeterminate. Will need strong staking for the heavy fruits. Produced many fruits even in last year's super wet weather.

Kellogg's Breakfast Tomato
There is nothing processed about this large orange heirloom which the name implies. It has lots of juice and few seeds, it is both bright and tart weighing 1-2 lbs. It gets rave reviews for its taste and productivity. Indeterminate. 80 days.

Aunt Ruby's German Green Tomato
A tomato that impressed us in taste and color last year. Imagine a plate of sliced beefsteaks with red, orange, and green colors... This large heirloom beefsteak is originally from Tennessee. They are succulent, sweet and wonderfully piquant. It was a prolific grower for us right up until the first frost. Indeterminate, 85 days.

Mortgage Lifter Tomato
After several requests from Joe Dugan, we are growing this classic beefsteak heirloom tomato with a great name and a great story:
"Radiator Charlie" was facing bankruptcy in the 1930's. Even though he was not a plant breeder, he tried breeding 4 varieties of tomatoes together and came up with this large, pink- skinned, tasty and meaty tomato. He sold 1,000 plants of this tomato for $1 each and was able to pay off the mortgage with the proceeds. Charlie lived to the age of 97. Maybe it was the tomatoes! Fruits average 2 lbs & have very few seeds. 85 days

Paul Robeson Tomato
A medium sized heirloom (7-10 oz) with a cult following. This red-black tomato with green shoulders looks similar to a Cherokee Purple but smaller in size. It is one of the few heirlooms that does well in containers. Also prefers a cooler spot in the garden and can put up with some cooler temperatures. Smoky and sweet in flavor with a smooth velvet texture. Indeterminate, 75-80 days.

Ramapo Tomato

Popular for decades, it disappeared in the 1990's only to be brought back by Rutgers in the last few years. Pink Berkeley Tie Dye Tomato
Start tripping with this gorgeous early 8-12 ounce port-wine colored tomatoes with green metallic stripes. An absolute conversation piece in the garden. Taste is similar to a Cherokee Purple.
